Malala Yousafzai
Islam provides equal rights and benefits to female gender. Islam as a conservative religion does not hold true as history of sub continent have produced some iconic figures that were not only Muslims but also Pakistanis. This article is written to admire the services of no more other than Malala YousafZai, the daughter of Pakistan.  This education activist was born in Mingora in the Swat District of Pakistan IN Khyber Pakthunkhwa province.  Very first time in her life, she was brought to the light while writing a blog under a pseudonym name and describing her life under the Taliban rule. As an educationist, she wanted to promote the education of girls and Taliban on the contrary, were more stubborn and conserve in their approach.
Within no time, she gained a worldwide reputation under print and television media due to her rebellion approach and services for female education sector. However, on 9th October 2012, she was shot in the head. The assassination plan does not worked for Taliban’s as she was escorted to nearby hospital. Soon after the incident she was transferred to a hospital in United Kingdom and brought back to life under intensive rehabilitation unit.
Malala played a vital role in “open mind” project organized by “Institute of War and Peace Reporting”.  Desmond Tutu announced a reward of “International Children peace Prize” in her name and she became a celebrity and proud of Pakistan. Later on she was awarded first “National Youth Peace Prize” thereby redefining the history of sub continental women.
Conclusively speaking, Malala yousafzai is not only an icon and idealistic for entire Pakistani women but she is the one with a vision and strong believe in herself. The rewards can only appreciate but never payback her services that she offered for the education reforms in backward areas of Pakistan.
